I've actually started planning 2 weeks at a time. Then you only have to do the planning once every two weeks, and you can have a big grocery shopping trip, with another one the next week just to get milk and fruit etc. Anyway, I love it. Also, I'm following a program set out by the "Food Nanny" (she has a cook book). She does theme nights, so every Monday night is comfort food, every Tuesday is Italian night, etc. It's cool, because it gives you an idea of what to plan, and you can just have a list of "Monday night meals" etc. that you can go through when you're trying to plan. Anyway, I love it.
I do one month at a time. It makes life easier except when I have to figure out what I need to buy. Great post!
