I don't get it... I joined Twitter a while ago and just didn't get the whole thing. Why does everyone need to know what I am doing at every second of the day? Most of my life is online anyway, are the nitty gritty details necessary?
Someone please enlighten me? Whats the point??? Am I missing out here?

I have not signed up yet, but feeling lately with all the twitter buzz that I "have" to. I haven't even figured out face book completely. This will be another thing I have to keep up with, and I just don't know if MY memory can take that, lol.
I don't get it, either. What I do find cool about it is following interesting people (like Mike Nelson from Mystery Science Theater, or a friend of mine who is a radio personality). These types of folks tend to post often, and it's usually fun to read. I'm also following the adoptee rights demonstration for updates on the preparations for their gathering in Philly in July. I rarely update mine...sometimes when I pop in to read others' updates, I'll post something on mine. But I don't look at it like something I have to do...because, really, I'm not doing anything interesting, and I'm already updating my myspace and facebook "what am I doing" things whenever I feel like it...do I really need one more? If it gets cumbersome, I'll delete it. For now, it doesn't feel like an obligation, so I'm cool with it.
